Description

Liza Minnelli, Burt Reynolds and Gene Hackman star in this comedy drama set in Prohibition-era America.

Young widow Claire (Minnelli) joins rum-runners Walker (Reynolds) and Kibby (Hackman) on their boat, the Lucky Lady, off the coast of San Diego to help with their liquor smuggling operation.

But the trio's romantic peace is disturbed by an angry Coast Guard captain and the mafia, who send out hitman McTeague (John Hillerman) to deal with the small-timers who are infringing on their business operations.
