Seriously Sassy, Paperback Book
4 out of 5 (1 rating)

Thirteen-year-old Sassy is a true twenty-first century girl.

She's puzzling out the mysteries of parents, boys and why people can't be more like dolphins, and confronting big questions like . . .Can she become a singer-songwriter and save the world too? (More importantly, can she get Dad to pay for a demo?) Should she trust her dolly-goth best friend to give her a makeover without making her look like one of the undead? And does sharing a chocolate chip muffin with Magnus Menzies mean true love, or just a mid-morning snack . . .?

Seriously Sassy is an eco-friendly book about a girl named Sassy. Her real name is Sasperilla, but she would rather not have THAT name... but later on in the book she realizes it is a very different name and that is what she is. Sassy is a teenager, but she's very into the enviroment. She is always trying to save the doplhins and protest about global warming and all that. She writes her own songs and plays the guitar. Most of her songs are about saving the earth and going green, but then she falls in love with Magnus. Magnus looks like the dream boy she wants, but turns out to be a jerk. Sassy hates the though of him calling her cute. She thinks that baby seals are cute not her! Magnus just isnt right for her. Her Dad becomes a political person. Sassy finds out that Bluebell woods is going to be chopped down into a super deluxe shopping mall. She and some people from school protest and they finally win! They are not going to chop down the Bluebell woods. They are going to put the mall some place else. This book is really good for eco-friendly people and for anyone!
