Despite the money and jobs this would bring, many fear it would destroy their town.
When a violent death follows the crop burning, it looks as though someone is prepared to do anything to stop the scheme.
Bruno will have to draw on all his local knowledge to reach the truth.

Another excellent complex story set in the fictional town of St Denis in Périgord. Bruno investigates an arson attack on a secret GMO trial field and discovers it is more complex than it appears at first sight. The author skilfully weaves a story around contemporary themes and French rural live full of vibrant characters which keeps you guessing until the final reveal. Highly recommended.
