Description

Jack Warner stars in this 1940s crime thriller. Former war hero George Martin (Warner) has turned to a life of crime and on his most recent escape from prison his only means of getting away was to be handcuffed to Willie Stannard (George Cole), an inexperienced young man.

As the unlikely duo make their way across the country George must find a way of getting loose from Willie and ensuring his bid for freedom is successful.
