A good book for a rainy weekend or a boring journey, best check in your critical faculties with your luggage...

Not one of Robinson's better efforts. Scarecly credible scenario of Chinese diversionary moves before an attack on Taiwan, but most of book taken up with long account of undercover operations against Chinese bases. More than usually one -sided and in parts full of racial stereotyping.
