Description

Japanese anime feature set in a future in which Earth has been decimated by invading aliens and the few surviving humans are forced to band together to try and fight them off.

Taishi (voice of Mamoru Miyano) was only a child when the aliens, known collectively as FOS, arrived on Earth.

The majority of the human population was wiped out in the initial onslaught by the FOS, but a group of survivors, including Taishi and his sister, Koyomi (Kaoro Ishihara), made it to a secret base at the foot of Mount Fuuji.

From there the humans mount their defence and come up with a last plan - Plan Z - to rid themselves of the FOS forever...
