Delightful collection of whimsical cartoons featuring the cat that has starred in Tofield's hugely popular animations on YouTube. The animations are largely about the cat's manipulation of his owner but most of these still gags and strips explore the cat's absurd conflicts with moice, dogs, and biirds in and around Simon's garden. Nothing in the book quite matches the charm of the animations but it remains a remarkably satisying entertainment.

Simon truly knows the Nature of the Cat. Leafing through this on Christmas Day had me giggling every page and exclaiming 'We've done that!!' every other.Bechdel: Meow.

If you've ever seen the YouTube cartoons of Simon's Cat you'll know what this is, he has witty and entertaining and really "gets" cats and how they work. Both myself and my husband keeled over with laughter while reading.

Excellent book, a proper christmas day chuckler. The still cartoons aren't quite as perfect as the videos, but they get the message across. If you have a cat, there has to be something that you recognise here. Little monsters. Bless 'em.
