Shopaholic & Sister : (Shopaholic Book 4) Paperback
Part of the Shopaholic series
Becky thought being married to Luke Brandon would be one big Tiffany box of happiness.
But tobe honest, it's not quite as dreamy as she'd hoped.
The trouble started on honeymoon, when she told Luke the tiniest little fib, about the teeniest little purchase.
Now she's on a strict budget, she doesn't have a job - and worst of all her beloved Suze has a new best friend.
Then she receives some incredible news. She has a long-lost sister!Becky has never been more excited.
Finally, a real sister! They'll have so much in common! They can go shopping together... choose shoes together... have manicures together... Until she meets her - and gets the shock of her life.
It can't be true. Surely Becky Bloomwood's long-lost sister can't... hate shopping?Everybody loves Sophie Kinsella:"I almost cried with laughter" Daily Mail"Hilarious . . . you'll laugh and gasp on every page" Jenny Colgan"Properly mood-altering . . . funny, fast and farcical. I love these books! They're definitely a huge guilty pleasure but I don't care. They're so light and entertaining, which is refreshing. Becky and Luke are just finishing up their year long honeymoon and preparing to go home. Everything doesn't turn out as Becky is imagining though and it's highly amusing to see what she gets up to. Everything in her life is so insanely ridiculous I just can't help but laugh. This one was packed full of adventures and the ending left me longing to read the next one. I really enjoy this series and I'm glad I decided to read it

This is the 4th book in the shopaholic series. Again as in the previous books, the main character is Rebecca aka Becky Bloomwood. She spends far too much money on stupid thing eg clothes, shoes, handbags, waffles machines...She is now married to Luke Brandon who she met in the 1st book. They honeymooned for 10 months and have now come home back to reality. On arrival home,Becky thinks her parents are acting strange and she discovers that she has a sister. And the story begins. To be honest, I struggled through this book. I've read the 1st and haven't read the 2nd or 3rd but don't feel as though I missed anything. I'm quite glad to have skipped them really. Although well written and funny, I find Becky really annoying. She hasn't learn't after all this time that she spends too much money on rubbish. Its like reading the first book all over again but with a few new characters and in a slightly different setting.Unfortunately I have the next book in series already so I will just read that when I want an easy read with a few laughs.

I wasn't expecting to like this much, but found it surprisingly readable, and even quite moving towards the end. The 'Shopaholic', Becky, is very similar to someone I know, which perhaps aided my enjoyment. Well-written, fast paced light reading.
