DVD

Description

Triple bill of 1930s British comedy dramas. Lupino Lane directs and stars in 'No Lady' (1931) in which mild-mannered family man Mr. Pog (Lane) is mistaken for a spy whilst holidaying in Blackpool with his wife and stepchildren.

In 'Her First Affaire' (1932) Anne (Ida Lupino) tries to seduce her favourite writer Carey Merton (George Curzon) so she can gain some life experience before she gets married.

But her antics upset her fiancé who enlists the help of Mrs. Merton (Diana Napier) to put an end to the affair. In 'Shipmates O' Mine' (1936) widowed sailor Jack Denton (John Garrick) returns to captain his former ship with his young son by his side.
