The Wipers Times, DVD DVD

Made-for-TV drama about the soldiers who produced their own magazine in the trenches of World War I.

While stationed in Ypres, Belgium, in 1916, Captain Fred Roberts (Ben Chaplin) and Lieutenant Jack Pearson (Julian Rhind-Tutt) come across a printing press and decide to use it to produce a satirical magazine called The Wipers Times.

Despite the ongoing war and the disapproval of their superiors, Roberts and Pearson continue with their publication, helping to keep up the spirits of their fellow soliders in such dark times.
