This is a new print-on-demand hardback edition of the volume first published in 1925.
Owing to technical constraints it has not been possible to reproduce the following maps at the end of the volume: "Map of the Caribee Islands"; "Map of Cuba, Jamaica, and S.
Domingo"; "Map of the Rivers Amazon and Orinoco, Showing the Mythical Lake of Manoa and El Dorado".
These maps appeared in the first edition of the work.
