Description

Jessica Brown Findlay and George MacKay star in this made-for-TV adaptation of Sadie Jones' debut novel.

Set in Britain in the 1950s, the story follows the troubled adolescence of Lewis (MacKay).

After witnessing the death of his mother, Lewis is left alone with his neglectful father Gilbert (Greg Wise) who quickly marries second wife Alice (Brown Findlay).

Struggling to fit into his small Surrey village, Lewis makes friends with Kit Carmichael (Jessica Barden) but his violent past threatens to ruin his future.
