Description

Edgar G. Ulmer directs this science fiction horror starring Raymond Bond as Scottish professor Elliot, who keeps a close eye on Planet X from his observatory as its orbit cycle is steering it dangerously close to Earth.

When an alien ambassador lands on Earth, Elliot and his journalist friend John Lawrence (Robert Clarke) track it down but fail in their efforts to communicate successfully with the creature.

Elliot's ambitious colleague Dr. Mears (William Schallert) has more success, but tries to extort the alien for his own gains.
