Description

Guillaume Canet and Juliette Binoche star in this French drama written and directed by Olivier Assayas.

In Paris, literary editor Alain (Canet) reluctantly informs Léonard (Vincent Macaigne) that he cannot publish his latest manuscript.

The author, who has been having an affair with Alain's wife Selena (Binoche) for six years, is left devastated by the rejection, bemoaning the changing literary landscape.

Meanwhile, Alain, who has his own misgivings about his changing industry, begins an affair with Laure (Christa Théret), who has been hired to update Alain's publishing company for the digital age.
