Jesse's Overheard brand has tapped into something we all love: mocking, envying, and dropping our jaws at the absurdity of today's trends and conversations. The book will be divided into themes, with a Q&A from a different "LA expert" opening each section: The CEOs of Bumble for the Dating section; Krista Smith, the West Coast Editor of Vanity Fair, for Celebrity & Entertainment; the founders of SoulCycle for Health & Fitness; and Amanda Chantal Bacon of Moon Juice for Spirituality.
The overheard content and Q&As will be accompanied by illustrations from Emmet Truxes, the millennial mastermind behind @BrooklynCartoons (145,000 followers) and author of the forthcoming cartoon collection You Look Better Online (Abrams, October 2017).
