Established nearly a decade ago, Mr. Books Bookshop, as well as selling brand new books, has around 15,000 rare, out of print and secondhand books on a huge variety of subjects in stock. We are a traditional bookshop (with a modern twist) in the heart of the community in Tonbridge which has established a strong reputation locally for customer service. We have built up an impressive range of signed modern fiction first editions, many of which are not listed online, so please do call us if you have any particularly collections you'd like to add to. The stock is being constantly replenished so it's always worth visiting us if you're in the area. Although only a very limited number of new titles are held in stock we are able to order in any new books in print within one week and often the next day. You'll find us at the north end of Tonbridge High Street, very close to the medieval Castle in the heart of the old part of Tonbridge, which is an ancient market town surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Kent. Tonbridge is very accessible being only thirty odd miles from London, on the main railway line and close to the M25, via the A21. It's worth combining a trip to Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells which is only around four miles south.
