A little bit about us

We offer two floors of both new and old books in a former builder’s yard at the centre of Alfriston. This lovely Medieval village is located between Eastbourne and Lewes in East Sussex, on the South Downs Way. Named Independent Bookshop of the Year in 2007, we continue to offer outstanding service and a warm welcome to all readers and book lovers, with a hand-picked selection of books displayed in a lovely setting.
