A little bit about us

Green Dragon Bookshop is a small but perfectly formed bookshop in Crewkerne, South Somerset.

We have carefully curated a wide range of fiction and facts for all ages. Rural life, nature writing, wildlife guides, myths, folklore, ghost stories and fairy tales are our loves, as well as crime, classics, history and ideas.

As William Morris said...“Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” We believe the same applies to books. Looking beyond the top 20 titles we aim to present to you these hidden printed gems in a comfortable inspiring setting.

We are very supportive of local writers and artists.... events such as art shows, book clubs and storytelling sessions are on our calendar for the coming year. We also stock greetings cards, wrapping paper and jigsaws.

The ethos of the shop is that everything we stock is made of paper, so that we can recycle the shop and make less impact on the environment.



Opening hours are Monday to Friday 10:00 - 16:00, Saturday 10:00 - 13:00, Sunday CLOSED. Other times by appointment only.
