A little bit about us
Welcome to The Whitby Bookshop, an Independent Bookshop nestled in the heart of Whitby, on the stunning North Yorkshire Coast. We’ve been a dedicated beacon for book lovers for over 30 years. We also stock a fabulous selection of greetings cards for any occasion as well as beautiful gifts, vinyl records and more…!

We’re open 7 days a week (except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day). During the winter months (and times of severe weather!) our opening hours are sometimes reduced so please phone ahead to check before making a special visit.
