Jamie Smith is a writer of fantasy and sci-fi fiction novels for any ages willing to read them. Between working as a software developer and dealing with the whims of capricious, sporadically violent tiny monsters (i.e. cats), he has written more books than he strictly should have and is continually working on more – there are always more stories on the Infinite Sea. His debut novel Frostfire was shortlisted for the Times/Chicken House Children’s Fiction Competition 2016 and was be published by Chicken House in November 2018.
Lisa Gabriele is the author of several bestselling novels. Her writing has appeared in Glamour Vice, Elle, the New York Times Magazine and Salon as well as various anthologies, including The Best American Nonrequired Reading series. An award-winning T.V. producer, she has lived in Washington D.C. and New York City, and now lives in Toronto
Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah was born in 1991 and is of Ghanaian-American descent. He graduated from SUNY Albany and went on to receive his MFA from Syracuse University. His work has appeared in or is forthcoming in numerous publications including Guernica, Printer’s Row and The Breakwater Review, where he was selected by ZZ Packer as the winner of the 2nd annual Breakwater Review Fiction Prize. Friday Black is his first book.
Niviaq Korneliussen was born in 1990 in Nuuk and grew up in South Greenland. She studied Psychology at Aarhus University in Denmark and spent a year in California as an exchange student. Korneliussen started writing in 2013 and is the winner of many writing competitions in Greenland where her debut novel, Crimson, was first published under the title HOMO sapienne (2014). She translated it herself from Greenlandic to Danish. She is currently working on her second novel.
