Description

Collection of four 1970s disaster films. In 'Airport' (1970) a plane bound for Rome is hijacked by a suicide bomber.

With a snowstorm causing chaos, ground crew at Lincoln Airport, Chicago attempt to avert disaster as the plane prepares to make an emergency landing.

In 'Airport 1975' (1974), en route from Washington DC to Los Angeles, Columbia Airlines Flight 409 is struck by a small plane, leaving its pilot blinded and its co-pilot dead.

Can chief stewardess Nancy Pryor (Karen Black) keep the giant aircraft aloft before her lover, former jet pilot Alan Murdock (Charlton Heston), arrives to save the day?

In 'Airport '77' (1977) Captain Don Gallagher (Jack Lemmon) is piloting Philip Stevens (James Stewart)'s private 747 when a group of thieves hijack the aircraft and crash it into the Atlantic Ocean.

A dangerous rescue bid follows. Finally, in 'The Concorde... Airport '79' (1979) evil genius Dr Kevin Harrison (Robert Wagner) launches a missile at a Concorde flight when he is threatened with the exposure of his foreign arms deals.
