When Haruhi stands up to some local bullies and gets tossed into the ocean, Tamaki, the Host Club King, rescues her.

Ah what an exciting volume! We get the beach, Halloween, and the twins' wish all at once. This volume starts out by jumping to the next episode/ standard setting, the beach. To Tamaki's dismay though, Haruhi won't wear a bathing suit, and the trip just turns into a Host Club venture, well at least there is the "find Haruhi's weakness" game. That is until some bullies show up and start harassing their customers. Haruhi (heroine that she is) takes them on, only to be given a reality check. Haruhi is okay, but the twins cause damage, and Tamaki won't talk to her until she apologizes. Here is some well-timed seriousness while Haruhi discovers saying there is no difference between boys and girls can be dangerous. After the tense moments in the first part of the volume the rest returns to the wacky story from before. The twins are doubly mischievous on Halloween, and Haruhi's house and father are finally revealed.

Few things are better than Ouran. Volume 3 has the entire trip to the beach, Halloween festivities, and the field trip to Haruhi's house where we finally meet her dad.Plus, Mori wears a puppy dog costume for Halloween. Win.

This continues the greatness that is this particular manga. It fits the anime so perfectly, but I am finally finding small moments that are a bit different, which makes for interesting reading. I really love this series and will continue reading it when able to get the next volumes. (I have up to volume 4 currently)
