Introduction

In this socio-emotional program, discussion topics focus on 21 career variables that affect students' opportunities and choices with respect to career paths.

Resources for discussions:

1. Students' opinions and experiences; 2. Teacher's knowledge of D. E. Super's career variables; and 3. This textbook: Zunker, V. G. (1998). Career counseling: Applied concepts of life planning (5th ed.). Pacific Grove, CA: Brooks/Cole.

For each of 21 weeks, students construct a single class web that they daily add information to, based on the discussion topic (career variable) of the week.
