Review by asnackate
A charming collection of tales, taken from those told by Abram Wood, the great gypsy storyteller, said to have brought Wales its first ever violin. Daniel Morden's concise, clear language sketches out the stories for the reader, with their curious characters and intriguing events. As Morden says in the introduction, "These stories belong in the air, between a mouth and some ears." If you get the chance, go and see his excellent telling of these tales. And if not, buy the book and start telling them yourself.
