The Trouble with Dragons Paperback
by Debi Gliori
Illustrated by Debi Gliori
The world is populated by some beastly dragons who care nothing for how much they pollute the oceans, chop down the trees, gobble up all the food and use everything up without stopping to think.
Those dragons need to wake up to what they are doing to their world before it is too late ...An energy-filled picture book that addresses concerns about the environment in the most child-centric and delightful way possible.

A good analogy for our Earth's gradual deterioration. Rhyming was somewhat inconsistent and words like puncture and chimed might not reach the intended audience (K-3). Cute animals soften the reality that soon certain species will be extinct.

With all of these dragons eating, shopping, spreading, fire breathing and then rebuilding, and their colorful bodies, this book would be perfect for a science lesson. This book can teach about global warming and protecting and caring for our planet. I love how the author uses dragons to attract the children and keep them interested, like there is a dragon gang making sure you reuse and recycle. Great book!

This is a great book to get children to understand the concept of recylcing and how our earth could suffer the consiquences if we don't. It does so in a very cute way, with dragons playing the part of humans.

This is a picture book all about dragons. It shows children what dragons are capable of from once they are born to when they are old!
