Bought for me by my dear kid sister and what a great book. I am a sucker for beautiful planes and this rekindled my interest in one of the greats. Comprehensive contents, great pics and lots of new ones. Now must make a Spitfire in 1/48 scale - problem which marque? The original I, the prolific V or IX, the graceful XIV, or the superb Seafire 46/47 - a triumph of evolutionary engineering the Germans normally do so well.
