Part of the High Interest Books: Survivor (Hardcover) series

Paperback / softback

Description

What does any self respecting socialite do when she finds her husband screwing his secretary on HER dining room table?

She gets petty revenge a'la Louisville Slugger, then she runs home and pretends her whole life isn't in tatters.
But when this princess can no longer pretend, she pulls on her big girl panties, slips out of her Louboutins and into her Nikes and gets a job for the first time in her life.
Crap.
**
Fifteen years ago, Marc was the poor kid who didn't have two coins to rub together. He was working hard to earn his keep, and as a side benefit, was serving the prettiest princess at the local country club while she shot glares at his back - it didn't matter to him whether they were death glares or gazes of adoration, she watched him walk away.
She watched every time.
Now Marc and Meg are grown, and she's the one wearing an apron and serving up meals.
Oh how the tables have turned.
What's a bowl of poisoned soup between friends?
She wouldn't actually kill him. They're just empty threats... right?

Always You is Book 1 in the Marc and Meg Duet and is not a standalone.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Book one in this duo literally knocked my socks off. I've been waiting for Meg and Marc to get together since they were kids, way back in Without You. They do love/hate better than anyone. This book made me laugh out loud more than I can remember doing in a long time. Meg is absolutely hilarious. Emilia did an amazing job developing her character. People were quick to judge her - she is viewed as a spoiled party girl - but holy cow is she so much more. Marc is one of my favorite male characters Emilia has written. He's had a hard life; he's a protector
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐FINALLY!!! I've been waiting for Meg and Marc to hook up! This is one of the best "friends" (more like enemies) to lovers book I've read! The s-tension between Meg and Marc is off the charts! Meg is my favorite character in this whole series. She had me laughing out loud more than once. This book is a cliff hanger, but it is totally worth it! I can't wait for the next one to be released!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This story shows the continuation of a friendship into a wonderful love story. They take hit after hit and you want to root for them to be together. This is probably one of Emilia's funniest stories.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Gahhh! Okay, so Marc is officially my new favorite BB. And Meg, aka Snitch, is one of the best female characters from this series. Love these intertwined characters from the Rollers to the band guys. Great read!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Couldn't wait to read this, these two had chemistry in Scotch and Sammy's book, so I knew they had to collide at some point!!
