Evil magic is afoot.
The police aren't quite up to speed on the evil magic concept, so Hayley and her fellow witch Skylar have to help. Could the killer be the dead man’s girlfriend, an actress on The Young and the Restless? Or what about the mysterious man with the ruby stud in his ear who makes Hayley’s heart go banga-banga-banga? Should she worry that his name is Killin?
To figure that out, Hayley and Skylar need powerful magic spells. But using untested spells is like jumping off the roof with wings on your arms. They have to stick the landing, because clearly, they can’t let the magical murderer go free.
And then everything that’s clear turns out to be wrong. That’s magic for you.
