~~~ Biography ~~~~~~ This book is long overdue. It was supposed to be published in 2010; however, illnesses and death took a hold of me.

Thanks be to God; I'm now set free to do my will and have my book published. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I am Feliecea "EmpresS" Rose, a mother of four, three departed!

I was born in the Caribbean, Jamaica, West Indies. I grew up in a small district called Bryan's Land, which is situated in Spalding's Clarendon, Jamaica, West Indies.

A past student of Christiana Comprehensive High School, Jamaica, West Indies, 1996, I attended Cayman Community College, British West Indies.

Soon after, I migrated to the United States. I attended Westchester Community College and Victory College, where I received my bachelor's, consummated double degrees in Law, Journalism with a concentration in Counseling - impeccable honors from my University in Ohio.

Obtained two master's. My PhD is on the way. I'm feeling honored to say I'm an American and reside in New York with my son, Trayhe, and my dog, Spotty baby.

I was published in the X-News Gleaner and the Out-Look Newspaper, Jamaica, West Indies, in 1999.

I was awarded a Prometheus Muse of Fire trophy and a 2001 Poet of the Year medallion.

In addition to the aforementioned, I also received recognition in the 2001 Poetic Odyssey book and the New Millennium Poets book, published by the Famous Poets Society and an Editor's Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry in 2002.

In addition, I obtained a diploma from the Poets Master Workshop in Reno, Nevada.

I've received numerous other certificates that I achieved in writing. My enthusiasm for writing poems is extremely wholeheartedly, which provides an inspiring satisfaction to my soul.

I have written this book, which I am proud of. Thanks to God, it establishes ethics of my life (called it history) about God, families, the world, life, and past loved ones.

Some of my poems will make you laugh; others will make you cry, and a few will put you in a state of deep concentration.

This book has something in it on issues everyone can relate to.
