Guidelines for Bibliographic Description of Interactive Multimedia : ALCTS Interactive Multimedia Guidelines Review Task Force Paperback / softback

Paperback / softback

Description

Addressing items not included in the AACR2, these guidelines were created in response to demand by cataloguers for separate, practical instructions on cataloguing interactive multimedia resources, which have become crucial in library collections.

These guidelines were reviewed by more than 300 cataloguers.

The compilers also developed the guidelines to remain in compliance with the principles and provisions of AACR2, in so far as the complications of media integration in interactive multimedia resources allow compliance.
