This book is about one day in the lives of four different families who live on the same street. Each family's story is separate from the others, but also connected. Jason is a teenager. He lives with his mother. He's really in love with his girlfriend, but he has to think about his future. Nina is a bank manager. Her husband is a chef, and they have a son. She has some big news to tell her husband.Maggie is a young woman who lives alone. She has just come back from a holiday in Chile, where she met a really nice man.Sam is a journalist, and his problem is money. His salary is too low to support his family properly. There are a lot of characters in this book so at first it was a bit difficult to remember who was who. But I enjoyed their stories. I just thought the ending was too sudden.

The story can be devided four story about four different family. All of the family have different but important trouble. Each story begin on usually Friday...The beginning of the story is very boring because it is a little hard to understand the problems, which different four family have. But the longer you read it, the more interesting you get.And in the end of this story, you will get satisfied to understand the whole story!!

This book is short story about the people who live in Moreland Road.Jason, Nina, Maggie and Sam have a different problem with their family or boyfriend and girlfriend.I was fascinated with its cover and back cover sentence, but it is not happyending and all story was obscure. So I don't like this book too much.

People live at Moreland Road. And their actions sometimes help another, but sometimes give bad effect to another. There are many characters in this story. So it was difficult for me to understand this story and I felt little boring. But I thought this story express humanity well.
