I went to London and discovered Hilary Bonner(and a few other new(to me) great mystery authors). She has published at least 8 books though they may not be published in US or Canada. They should be easily available on the Internet. She is a combination of what I would call the charm of Agatha Christie and the relentless psychological tension created by Ruth Rendell or Minette Walters. I read the book in one sitting and then I went back to the bookstore for more of her books. This is great escapist reading and we all need that from time to time.
