Description

Collection of three Australian made-for-TV dramas and every episode from all three series of the subsequent crime drama based on the novels by Peter Temple.

In 'Bad Debts' (2012) ex-criminal lawyer Jack Irish (Guy Pearce) now dabbles in a variety of professions as he attempts to get his life back in order following the murder of his wife.

However, when a former acquaintance gets in touch Jack finds himself once again facing his dark past.

In order to get to the bottom of the latest mystery he teams up with journalist Linda Hillier (Marta Dusseldorp).

In 'Black Tide' (2012) an old friend of Jack's late father gets in touch about finding his missing son.

However, when Jack and his partner Cam Delray (Aaron Pedersen) look into the case they realise that the disappeared man had something to hide.

In 'Dead Point' (2014) as police forces close in on a drug smuggling operation in Melbourne, Jack is tasked with retrieving a red leather-bound book for an anonymous client.

In 'Series 1: Blind Faith' (2016), Jack returns to debt collection and investigates the case of a missing aid worker who he believes has been kidnapped.

His search takes him to the Philippines where he encounters corrupt politicians, terrorists and religious fanatics. 'Series 2: Last Rite' (2018) sees Jack hired to look into the death of a foreign exchange student.

He has doubts about the apparent suicide and attempts to find out the truth, travelling to Mumbai where he looks into the malpractice involved in international colleges.

Finally, in 'Series 3: Hell Bent' (2021), the death of an off-duty police officer prompts Jack to investigate.

When links are made between this killing and the death of officer Barry Tregear (Shane Jacobson)'s wife ten years previously, Jack believes that more people may now be in danger.
