Description

Dorothy Martin and her husband, retired Chief Constable Alan Nesbitt, have just visited Buckingham Palace, where their good friend ex-Chief Inspector Jonathan Quinn was awarded the George Cross, when they stumble across the body of a young girl hidden in a section of St James's Park that is normally closed to the public. Having reported the disturbing discovery to the police and returned home, Dorothy finds herself wondering what led to the unfortunate girl's demise.
