Description

Many Christians and non-Christians have a rather fragmented view of the Bible. Paradise to Paradise is an attempt to show God's patient dealings with his chosen people (both Jews and Christians), written in a way that can be easily understood by all. The Bible is a lengthy and complex description of God's plan for mankind. The Old Testament includes prophesies of the coming of the savior, along with God's efforts to teach the Jewish people how to live an acceptable life. The New Testament covers Christ's teachings of love and forgiveness, and his crucifixion as the sinless Savior of all believers. Christ also instructed his followers on how to establish the Christian church. Most people who have studied the Bible seem to agree that mankind existed in a state of paradise while in the Garden of Eden, and that disobedience led to man's expulsion from paradise. The Bible describes how Satan was involved in man's downfall and how he has continued to try to wreck God's plans for man to return to a state of paradise""which we generally refer to as heaven. As described in the Bible, Christ has promised to return to earth, resurrect his believers, and take them to heaven where there will be no more death, pain, or sorrow. In other words, mankind will have regained the paradise that was lost when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. This book is a short summary of this long journey and will, hopefully, encourage readers to study the entire Bible, guided by the many scriptures that are referenced throughout the book.
