A blast from the past. As a child I was fascinated by these old-fashioned stories of everyday life in an extended family in an English village. I especially was fascinated by the "Bombay bloomer" Milly-Molly-Mandy wore which used to hang below her striped dress and I loved the maps of the village on the end papers. I wonder what my grand-daughters will make of it.
