Nursery Sounds is a series of graded activity books in which Scamp the dog helps young children to learn letter sounds and to build and spell words.

This book is suitable for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage who are learning to read and write.

Book 3 includes: correct formation of vowels ('a' 'e' 'i' 'o' and 'u'), the sounds made by the above letters at the start of a word, alliteration (words beginning with the same sound) and sounds made by more than one letter ('sh' 'ch' and 'wh').
