Carrie wished her Grandma was with her. She went to the computer and clicked on Grandma's picture to call her, but she didn't answer. She took her favorite book to her mom, wishing Mom would read her a story but Mom was busy. Carrie went to the yard to look for Dad. He was pulling out weeds in the garden. She went back inside but she didn't want to read or bounce the ball. Carrie decided to go to the closet and open one of the four boxes her Grandma had left there. Carrie looked at the box marked 'Fascinator' and she had a feeling it would contain something different and unique. She took it to her room, put it on her bed, and closed the door. She found a hat shaped like a tiny golden glistening ship. She put it on, and her world rocked!
