Part of the Beasts of Olympus series

Description

Demon's life on Mount Olympus has never been busier ... will stealing Zeus's Eagle get him frazzled to a crisp?. Demon is now an Apprentice Healer to Chiron the Centaur God as well as Official Beastkeeper to the rest of the gods.

Chiron's a bit distracted by looking after a new baby, Ascelpius - but Demon's not too keen on adding babysitting duties too.

He has enough poo to be cleaning up every day, thank you very much!

Horrible Heracles is back to his old beast-torturing tricks, and there's another awful "hero" on the scene, Beastly Bellerophon, who's shoved burning lead down the Chimera's throat and flown poor Pegasus nearly to death.

Pan is demanding Demon come down to earth to deal with the Mares of Diomedes, but up on Olympus the butterfly-winged goddess Psyche is about to blackmail Demon into doing something VERY dangerous.

She needs Demon to "borrow" Zeus's Eagle, his prized bird of prey, to complete the task she's been set by Aphrodite.

Eagle is the only one who can soothe the three-tongued serpent who guards the spring of eternal youth at the source of the River Styx - and Psyche needs 'just a little jug' of water from it to erase Aphrodite's (non-existent) wrinkles and win the chance of marrying her son, Eros.

Will the Eagle be willing to help Demon out? Or will he turn the young Beastkeeper over to his royal master?

The threat of being sizzled by a thunderbolt has never been more real . . .
