Originally broadcast as the Afternoon Play on 15 July 2009, this dramatisation stars Tim McInnerny as Sir Alec, Chris Starkie as Robbie, Benjamin Askew as Eric, Michelle Duncan as Sheila and Grainne Dromgoole as the girl.
