The Dark Side of Magic : v. 13 Paperback
Illustrated by Jan Pedroietta
Part of the Dark Man series
The Dark Man must once again pit his powers against the evil forces of the Shadow Masters.
Part of the incredible Dark Man phenomenon, this gritty and mysterious book will grip readers and pull them into the tense storyline.
The sinister atmosphere and strong black-and-white illustrations will entice even the most reluctant of teen readers because the book doesn't patronise, and accompanies the dark tales with a 'grown-up' style.
This is one of the shorter stories in the Dark Man series focusing on the top 100 frequency words.

Quite a simple read, really for remedial english teaching, and properly geared to teens than adults. This one has the Dark man meet a girl who can freeze time with magic, he wants to ensure that she isn't corrupted by the shadows and tries to make her go to the old man.
