Learning the Alphabet - Colouring Book.
I have always been interested in learning by Colouring, but not in reading. I have designed this book in a way that helps preschool children, from the start, to get interested in words by playing and having fun.
Dear Parents,
This colouring book aims to teach 2 year old's and up, first the alphabet by colouring then reading and then writing - using a full range of basic skills to prepare them for life and to make reading and learning fun!
Your child will quickly learn to recognise, identify and associate pictures with words to start reading and writing.
Opposite each colouring page of the alphabet is a list of 3, 4 and 5 letter words. Work with your child, by pointing, so your child can see the word and then say each word to them, letting them repeat the word. Once they know the word let them write it out under the word and colour it in. To have more fun with each A, B, C etc. words make a sentence like: Ask Aunt who is an Adult, Big Baby Bites or a Cat is Cute not a Camel. As you read and make up sentences let your child point to each word and repeat it after you.
