Description

1940s British comedy starring Niall MacGinnis and Rosamund John.

Recuperating airman Jimmy Bancroft (MacGinnis) discovers a pair of rare nesting birds and with the help of his nurse, Hazel (John), and her ornithologist uncle, identifies his feathered friends as Tawny Pipits.

This is only the second pair ever to have bred in England, and soon the whole village is rallying to protect the rare creatures.

However, not everyone has the birds' best interests at heart...
