One of my faves - New Orleans and perfumes are a great mix for me

A thoroughly enjoyable romp through the ages with immortal couples, the god Pan and of course beets! I haven't read anything else by Tom Robbins and maybe that's just as well as I imagine the novelty factor of this was half its appeal although I'd like to know if anyone else can recommend maybe a second choice by Robbins I might look out for.

The last of 3 I read by Robbins and my least favourite, but still very enjoyable. think you just get a bit tired of his style.

This is quite possibly my all-time favorite novel. Aside from the fact that I'm a huge Tom Robbins fan, this story seems to somehow include almost every possible aspect human existence. The 1st century Bohemian King, Alobar, searches for everlasting life, never ending love, and in the process he learns how Pan came to be villianized by religous dogma.

One of my all time favorite books. This is Robbins at his best. Sweet and irreverant.
