Mac, a kind and gentle Belgian horse loves everything about nature. Most of all, he enjoys reading books about butterflies along with exploring the farm's fields with his best friend, Marigold. One afternoon, they discover a group of beautiful and unique butterflies near the farm's garden. Mac and Marigold must depend on each other as they follow these butterflies through a neighboring dairy farm. Marigold encourages Mac to believe in himself as he must jump fences, creeks,  and logs to reach the butterflies. Thus, these magical and incredible butterflies take Mac and Marigold on an adventure of a lifetime.
