Description

As they bicker, scenes from Emma's past are called to mind and played out with all the passion for which Flaubert's novel is famous... Fay Weldon's play Madame Bovary: Breakfast with Emma was first performed by Shared Experience Theatre Company on a UK tour in 2003, with performances at the Lyric Hammersmith in November 2003.
