The Legacy Manuscript, Paperback / softback Book

The Legacy Manuscript Paperback / softback

Paperback / softback

Description

An American businessman suddenly finds himself asked to recover a family legacy lost during WWII, a legacy dating back centuries.

A decision to honor the request means jeopardizing his career by flying off to England on a quest with seemingly small chance for success. His quest becomes filled with a sense of a family heritage needing to be recovered but with a growing concern for the people who took it and risks in trying to reacquire it.

In following what little clues he has, he finds himself somehow coerced into hiring a young woman whose commitment to him creates a growing affection he tries to discount being her employer and reality of them living an ocean apart. A book of intrigue bound with historical roots dating well back in history but playing out in the twentieth century with a romance of surprising elements.

In all, a great read at night or on the beach for its surprising plot and characters.
