Nothing Is Wrong : A Novel Hardback

Hardback

Description

This novel takes the reader on a journey into contemporary Tanzanian life in an honest and unsentimental way, from the bustling towns to its vast, dangerous wilderness. Set in Tanzania, Nothing Is Wrong follows the lives of three people living on the fringes of society: a wayward vagrant, a curious Tanzanian girl, and Sal, a young American woman suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder from the war in Afghanistan.

As their lives come together, their unlikely relationships grow until an act of violence triggers events that upturn their lives and send Sal on the run into the harsh wilderness of the Tanzanian interior.

Despite the violence and pain they all face, the three are somehow able to find in each other compassion, light, and perhaps a second chance at a better life. Nothing Is Wrong demonstrates the challenges faced by women veterans suffering from their time in combat, an issue widely overlooked.

Its characters are diverse, both in background and experience, and they forge compelling relationships that cross cultural and economic barriers.
