I'd Rather Be in Golden Oak Florida : An Overview and Tour of Walt Disney World's New Residential and Resort Community Paperback / softback

Paperback / softback

Description

Have you ever visited Walt Disney World (this author has!) ?

Have you ever wondered what it is like to live there (this author has!) ? Would you like to live there (this author wants to!) ?

This book does its best to give the reader a "You-are-there" experience, and what follows is how.

This book is about Golden Oak, Florida, which is a residential and resort community within the property of Walt Disney World.

The book has three parts: the first part is a description of what Golden Oak is, and the author's experience (including both the author's stay at the Four Seasons Orlando on opening day, and the author's tour of the residential development) there.

The second part is a photographic (there are currently 224 images of the homes in the book) and descriptive tour of the residential community of Golden Oak.

The third part outlines hypothetical ways an ordinary person (such as the author of this book) might be able to purchase a home in Golden Oak. This book is continuously updated by the author as Golden Oak evolves; as new homes are built, new images (and descriptions of those images) are placed in the book.

As the Golden Oak community progresses, those events are described in the book.

As the author learns more about Golden Oak, that information is added to the book.

One of the updates is the addition of the names of the residences in all of the neighborhoods.

For example, in the Kimball Trace neighborhood, the name of the residence of Lot 20 is Casa Felice, the name of the residence of Lot 21 is Bella Vita, etc.

Furthermore, the translation of these names are added as well; for example, Casa Felice means "happy home'" in Italian, Bella Vita means "good life" in Italian, etc.

Another update is the names and meanings of the Marceline, Symphony Grove, The Cottages at Symphony Grove, Kingswell, Silverbrook, Carolwood, and Four Seasons Private Residences neighborhood homes are being added, and the builders corresponding to all homes are being updated.

An addition to the book is that interesting facts about each home are being added.

For example, a significant number of the homes have bedrooms that are themed in the manner of Disney characters, movies, etc. Because each home has a unique architectural style, each style being explained in the book is in progress.

Finally, schematics of the neighborhoods' Lot configurations are being added to the book.

Have a look! You will find pleasant surprises along the way.
