Best of Enemies, DVD

Robert Gordon and Morgan Neville co-direct this documentary about the televised American debates between Gore Vidal and William F.

Buckley Jr. Beginning during the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, the liberal and conservative writers and commentators clashed over issues including the city's police, the convention's protestors and the freedom-of-speech-right of Americans.

As the pair commented on the issues of the day, over the course of their debates, their discourse became increasingly explosive and hostile and the substance of their arguments lost.
